About Leila Garrett, MD

Dr. Leila Garrett is a Board Certified Ob/Gyn who has been in practice in Greenwich, CT for over 25 years.  She now limits her practice to office gynecology, caring for women from adolescents through menopause.

Dr. Garrett is a proud Magna Cum Laude graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she was a four-year student-athlete, a 2 time Academic All American, and she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  She completed her medical education at The University of Rochester School of Medicine and then went on to the University of Vermont, completing her Ob/Gyn residency there in 1994.  Following residency she joined Greenwich Gynecology and Obstetrics. In 2022 she transitioned to join Donna J. Hagberg MD, LLC in practice.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Fairfield County Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Garrett remains on the medical staff of Greenwich Hospital/Yale New Haven Health.

Dr. Garrett’s practice is now focused entirely on office gynecology.  She offers annual gynecologic and breast exams, evaluation and management of abnormal Pap smears, contraceptive management, treatment and screening for sexually transmitted diseases, evaluation of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, hormone replacement therapy, menopausal management and counseling, and she has a special interest in caring for the gynecologic needs of the adolescent woman.
